Kiaya Abernathy is a Virginia-grown ethereal folk singer-songwriter who performs and records under the moniker Sacred Song Witch. Her music blends mystical folklore, intuition, and acoustic melodies characterized by soulful, introspective lyrics and crystalline, honeyed vocals. A Mother, Singer of Songs, and Storycatcher of local lore on the highly-praised, interview-style podcast Rappahannock Radio. The show highlights local artists, blacksmiths, musicians, and creators in Appalachia. Kiaya actively performs in the central Virginia and Shenandoah regions. Songwriting Workshops: She hosts "Seasons of Song" workshops to help others craft songs and explore stylistic expression.
