I have never worked with a female producer before. SO THIS IS BIG! They are a rarity (less than 5% of Producers are Female). I am lucky enough to have found one that totally gets my sound >>>That witchy pop meets ethereal soul siren vibe.
I am so excited to work with Kimberly Shires at Hear Me Roar Studio, to birth my EP, Goddess Complex, into the world. Hear Me Roar Studio is local, women-owned and their mission is to support women in the studio to find their voice. I couldn’t think of a better pairing. I have spent years activating and holding sacred space for the voices of others, but I have rarely had my own voice supported. Kimberly activated a part of me that said, “your voice has intrinsic value. You don’t have to always sound pretty and ethereal, you can be raw and rich with your vocalizations.” Kimberly made me feel SAFE to be my self. The type of female support every woman craves and needs to feel heard and understood. ——A breath I could take, I COULD STOP TRANSLATING MY SOUL and JUST BE ME.
